Character Bio
Captain Ryan was head of ARC security, he was tasked by Claudia Brown with keeping Cutter and the team safe on missions. He occasionally clashed with Cutter over the treatment of the creatures - Ryan (like Becker who succeeded him) preferred to shoot and kill them, rather than contain them.
On his first journey through an anomaly with Cutter, they discovered an old camp in the Permian Era that had been used by present day humans, including Helen Cutter, a unknown body was buried at the camp. In episode 1.6, he and Cutter returned through that anomaly with Helen to return some Future Predator young that they believed had arrived via the Permian. When Cutter saw the camp they'd just set up, he realised that it was the old camp he and Ryan had found months earlier. Unfortunately, the Future Creature's mother followed them through the anomaly, she attacked them and killed the soldiers, including Ryan (it was his body buried at the old camp).
