Character Bio
Patrick Quinn and a friend disappeared after they broke into a house in 1995 and were attacked by a creature. Another friend, Ryan Mason, was suspected of killing them, but there was no proof and no bodies were found. Patrick's older brother, Danny, never gave up hope of finding him alive and when he learned about the anomalies and the possibility that Patrick could have gone through one, he joined the ARC team.
Fifteen years later, three travellers came through an anomaly to the present day - Emily Merchant, Charlotte Cameron and Ethan Dobrowski. In episode 4.7, it was revealed that Ethan was actually Patrick Quinn. He, Emily and Charlotte had been travelling in a group of 15 until Charlotte became ill.
Ethan / Patrick is clearly disturbed by the time he's spent travelling. He has no problem killing anyone who gets in his way (during his short stay in his own time he killed one person and tried to kill Emily and Becker) - he has particular grudges against Emily who he blames for Charlotte's death, and Danny who he believes abandoned him.
At the end of series 4, he escaped ARC custody and fled through an anomaly.
