Character Bio
Emily accidentally fell through an anomaly in Victorian England three years ago and has been trying to get home ever since. While travelling through anomalies she met up with other lost travellers, including Ethan Dobrowski and Charlotte Cameron. When Charlotte became ill with smallpox, Emily and Ethan left the rest of the group and brought her to the present day, unfortunately it was too late to save her. Emily promised Charlotte she'd look after Ethan, but he blames Emily for Charlotte's death and tried to kill her by locking her in Charlotte's family crypt.
In her own time, Emily was unhappily married to Henry and feels she didn't fit in with the constraints of being a Victorian lady. Her marriage was one of convenience, arranged by her family for money and power. Whilst in the present she developed strong feelings for Matt Anderson but, although he cares for her, he won't let her distract him from his mission to stop the future being destroyed. She returned home at the end of series four, when an anomaly opened to her own time.
